Over the last few years, BNA has worked with Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) to finalize the community roads. The next step is to finalize the road from the Sawmill entrance to the Phase 1 and 1.5 housing areas. Remaining work includes proper ditching, crowning, new culverts, guardrails, and the utilization of Papasay’s Granular A and B2 aggregate material.

Beyond the main road, BNA must complete the new road into the Phase 4 Housing Area, to the east of the maintenance garage, and into the new 6 lots. This is part of the infrastructure development that is to take place prior to BNA members moving into this area. The new transmission line will run along side the new road. This road work is to take place in the spring of 2023.
